Factory Butte is one of Wayne County's main landmarks, and has been popular with off-highway vehicle owners for many years.

Factory Butte is about 15 miles northwest of Hanksville and near the Dirty Devil River. The area is ideal for ATVs and motorcycles.

The land surrounding Factory Butte is a barren region that is void of plants and vegetation, but filled with spectacular challenges for motorcycle riding and other OHV use. The area is also perfect for cross-country travel, and has vast flat expanses combined with hills and slopes with knife-edge ridges for riding.
